Visit of the Canadian ambassador |
 On February 18 ZAG hosted her Excellency, the Canadian ambassador Ms. Tamara Guttman (seated in Budapest), and her International Trade and Development secretary, Ms. Suzanne Bubic. In absence of Director General the guests were welcomed by the Assistant Director Mr. Aleš Žnidarič and Mr. Bojan Leben.

The main purpose of the meeting, which was a part of their 2-day visit to Slovenia, was to investigate how to strengthen cooperation between Slovenia and Canada, in our case in the area of road infrastructure research. Thus, after a short presentation of ZAG, the discussion focused on our involvement into international research, particularly within the framework programmes of the EU and the EraNet Road programme, and on our cooperation with FEHRL, the Association of European National Road Research Centres.
