Quality Management System

The Building Research Institute of Slovenia (ZAG) has established an integrated management system that includes the requirements of ISO 9001, EN ISO/IEC 17025, EN ISO/IEC 17065, EN ISO/IEC 17020, ISO 26000 and complies with relevant legislation and other requirements arising from the Institute’s areas of activity.

The management system of ZAG, through its mechanisms, enables and ensures transparency, traceability, confidentiality, impartiality and independence as well as professionalism and liability. Through accreditation, the certificates and authorisations we have obtained, we demonstrate that the services we offer to our customers and partners maintain a high level of quality.

 

Certificate ISO

Since 2007, ZAG’s management system has been continuously certified by the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ) according to the ISO 9001 standard.
Accreditation

Testing and calibration activities are accredited by the Slovenian Accreditation (SA) according to EN ISO/IEC 17025, certification activities according to EN ISO/IEC 17065.

Authorisations

In the harmonised field of construction products, ZAG is notified to the European Commission under EU Regulation 305/2011 (CPR):

  • under NB 1404 as a Notified Certification Body (avcp 2+, avcp 1 and avcp 1+) and as a Notified Testing Laboratory (avcp 3).
  • designated as TAB as a body notified for european technical assessments

In the national regulatory field of construction products, under the Construction Products Act (ZGPro-1), ZAG has ministerial designations:

  • as a certification body (avcp 2+, avcp 1 and avcp 1+)
  • as a testing laboratory (avcp 3)
  • as a body for issuing Slovenian Technical Approvals (STS)

ZAG carries out the procedures for the approval of packaging for the transport of dangerous goods under the authority of the relevant ministry under the Transport of Dangerous Goods Act (ZPNB), taking into account the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR):

  • as a certification body

ZAG is authorised by the competent ministry to carry out expert technical inspections of cableway installations under the Cableway Installations for the Transport of Persons Act (ZŽNPO):

  • as an inspection body for cableway installations
