TITLE:
DuraScan 70G5 hardness tester
DESCRIPTION:
The DuraScan 70G5 hardness tester manufactured by EMCO-TEST Prüfmaschinen GmbH (Austria, http://www.emcotest.com/) with the associated software, allows us to measure Vickers hardness (SIST EN 6507-1) in the range of 0.00025 - 62 .5 kg (HV 0.00025 to HV 60). The equipment will primarily be used to measure microhardness in the research of metal materials and various surface treatments and coatings. The hardness meter is completely automated, it enables automatic recognition of sample edges and measurement of the depth of cementation or other surface treatments. It is possible to automatically perform hardness measurements along a certain grid on the sample, which enables a 2D insight into the distribution of hardness across the surface of the sample. With this equipment, we can photograph very large metallographically prepared samples at higher magnifications with different lenses.
