Drop Shape Instrument FTA 1000

DESCRIPTION:

The FTA 1000 Drop Shape Instrument B Frame System, Optical Tensiometers for Contact & Surface Tension Measuremnts manufactured by First Ten Angstroms, enables the measurement of the contact angle and surface Tension between a solid surface and a liquid. The device automatically deposits a droplet of a specified volume of liquid onto the surface using a built-in automatic syringe. The system allows the capture of consecutive snapshots of the droplet on the surface at a specified time interval and the processing of these images. To operate the device, a needle with a flat tip and the desired liquid (e.g., purified water) are required.
