In a more concrete technological domain, the scientific community engages in specific themes creates 6 PhD positions that enlarge the knowledge in 6 specific areas and enable the cooperation of academia with industry. The areas are Aerodynamics of freight trains, Electromagnetic compatibility, Additive Manufacturing in wheel reprofiling, Digital communications, Prognostics and health management for railway asset maintenance and Driving assistance. For all areas, a doctoral study will be conducted as part of the project, in the implementation of which the consortium partners will participate.
