TITLE:
X-ray computed microtomography microXCT and 3D image analysis
DESCRIPTION:
The microXCT400 (XRadia, X-ray computed microtomography) is a leading non-destructive method for 2D, 3D, and 4D analysis of microstructures and materials, tracking temporal changes. It features an adjustable X-ray source (40-150 kV, 10 W) and a sturdy table for large samples up to several kilograms. Various lenses achieve resolutions down to 0.6 µm, depending on material and size. Detection range with a macro lens spans 17-50 mm, with 20-50 µm resolution. At 40x magnification, it reaches 0.7 mm with 1 µm resolution. The device combines detection ranges for samples larger than 50 mm and allows analysis in an environmental chamber (-20 to 140 °C, 500 N tensile/compressive loads).
