- A MicroXCT-400 Micro Tomograph manufactured by Xradia (USA)
- A CORMET SSRT Autoclave
- An Empyrean X-ray diffractometer, manufactured by PANanalytical (The Netherlands), equipped with a micro diffraction modulus
- A TRIBOTECHNIC tribometer equipped with a corrosion cell (i.e. a pin on disc, reciprocal tribometer)
- A SpectroMAXx optical emission spectrometer for the chemical analysis of metals
- A Zwick Z2500Y universal testing machine with a nominal maximum load capacity of 2500 KN
- A JEOL 5500LV scanning electronic microscope, with OXFORD EDS analyser
- A LabRAM HR800 Raman spectrometer manufactured by Horiba Jobin Yvon
- A Carl Zeiss Axio 2009 metallographic-confocal microscope, with available magnifications of up to 1000x
- PA floating version Autolab PGStat 100 potentiostat/galvanostat
